Farzad Owrang

Farzad Owrang is a fine art photographer who has been photographing art for over 20+ years. He has worked for some prominent artists and galleries such as Kaws, Josh Sperling, Jose Parla and the Luhring Augustine Gallery.

From early 2020 to late 2022, I assisted Farzad create the best photographs of every piece he had been hired to shoot. Whether it was a painting, sculpture, furniture, composite, or even a work on paper, we shot multiple angles, scale shots, and detailed shots of the pieces, troubleshooting with limited space available and different lighting situations to create consistent photos of these pieces amongst a larger archive.
