FARZAD OWRANG
Farzad Owrang is a fine art photographer who has been photographing art for over 20+ years. He has worked for some prominent artists and galleries such as Kaws, Josh Sperling, Jose Parla and the Luhring Augustine Gallery.
From early 2020 to late 2022, I have been assisting Farzad to create the best possible photographs of every piece he had been hired to shoot, whether it be a painting, sculpture, composite, or even furniture. From troubleshooting lighting scenarios, to creating consistent photos of these pieces amongst a larger archive, this job has been extremely rewarding and has taught me a lot about fine art photography.
